Bokeelia Boat Ramp Re-opens

The boat ramp on Bowline Drive has just re-opened, complete with newly furbished boatramp, docks, ship's store, restrooms and parking.    The fee is $5 to launch and $5 to park your vehicle/boat trailer.  Other places to launch a boat on Pine Island island include the Pineland Marina, The Matlacha Boat Ramp, St. James Marina, and (on weekends and holidays) the Fisherman's coop marina on Maria Drive.
To launch a kayak, you can go to Waterfront Drive in Pineland, Tropical Point in St. James City or there is a separate kayak launching spot at Matlacha Park.  Pine Island is a great place for boating and fishing.  More information about Pine Island real estate, contact me, Erika Foye, Real Estate Broker for All Island Realty, Inc. at erikafoye@embarqmail.com.
